"There has been a critical error on this website"

This message means PHP hit a fatal error, almost always after a plugin, theme or PHP update. WordPress usually emails the site administrator a link to recovery mode with the name of the plugin or theme that failed. I find the exact cause in the error log, fix or replace what broke and leave the site updated, without losing content.

Site broke after a WordPress or plugin update

Updates to WordPress, a page builder or WooCommerce sometimes break layouts, the editor or the login. I roll back only what broke, find the conflict and update again safely, so you are not stuck on old versions.

WooCommerce checkout not working

Payments failing, the checkout spinning forever or orders not arriving are usually a plugin conflict, a payment gateway setting or an expired API key. I test the full purchase before and after the fix.

Login loop, white screen or too many redirects

Wrong site URL settings, a cache or security plugin, or a hosting change can lock you out of wp-admin. These are usually fixed the same day.

Real case

Shopping mall website: technical audit found 4500 x 6000 px images, broken 404 resources, six H1 tags on one page and a broken meta description, with a fix plan the client approved.
