Server-side tracking and Conversions API
If your pixel reports fewer sales than your store does, your ads are optimizing on incomplete data. I set up server-side measurement so Meta and Google receive every conversion with the right values.
Prices in US dollars.
When you need it
- Meta Ads reports far fewer purchases or leads than your CRM or store.
- Cost per result went up with no changes to your campaigns.
- Pixel and GA4 are installed but nobody knows if the events are right.
- Payments go through an external gateway and the purchase is lost on redirect.
What is included
- Google Tag Manager web and server containers.
- Meta Conversions API with event_id deduplication.
- GA4 and Google Ads events with value and currency.
- Verification in Events Manager and a written record of the setup.
Vehicle inspection center: replaced the client's tag manager with a server-side setup, so the client installs one snippet once and all tracking is configured afterwards without touching the site.
Frequently asked questions
What is server-side tracking?
Conversion events are sent from a server instead of only from the visitor's browser, so ad blockers and iOS restrictions no longer drop them before they reach Meta or Google.
Do I need to change my website?
Usually you only install the Google Tag Manager snippet once. After that, everything is configured inside GTM.
Is there a monthly cost?
The server container needs hosting, either Google Cloud or a provider like Stape. For small business traffic it is usually low, and I explain it before we start.
